Description
Until the 1950’s certain golf clubs were called “Woods.” They we called woods because they were, …wood. That wood was Persimmon common to the central east coast of the US, although not exclusively. Persimmon was the gold standard. Persimmon connected to a steel shaft. This pen brings back the tradition with Stainless Steel parts throughout, including a steel reinforcing rod through the center. The rod not only adds strength to the pen but contains the threading necessary to attach the click mechanism and the nib cone. If that weren’t enough Lauren has added “Whipping,” the Linen waxed thread that covered the junction of wood to metal. This pen will last as long as the old woods with proper care. By request, for a nominal fee, the pen can be personalized by laser cutting.
This is the perfect gift for the golf nut in your life that would love
to own a piece of history and a nostalgic treasure.
